AUSTRALIAN CARBON CREDIT UNITS (ACCUS)

CarBon ACCUs on EVs

CarBon has been granted approval by the Clean Energy Regulator to launch its own ACCU program – the first of its kind in the electric vehicle space.

All leased CarBon EVs can be registered to accrue ACCUs. An ACCU is a unit issued by the Regulator which is kept in an Australian National Registry of Emissions Units account (ANREU). Each ACCU represents one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent stored or avoided.

ACCUs are an innovative way for leasing customers to maximise the benefits of electrifying their fleet and can be used to offset your emissions in other places.

CarBon ACCUs are easy to measure and forecast, plus customers gain access to a unique ACCU Dashboard that displays emissions reduction in real-time. This opportunity represents thousands of dollars’ worth of value over the life of a lease.
